Aidan Moffat

If you always thought Aidan Moffat was the dirty one in Arab Strap, prepare to be proved right. Moffat’s intimate poems and stories are set to sound collages, song snippets and crackles, and while Moffat cites Ivor Cutler and William Burroughs as inspirations for making his first spoken word album, there are elements that could make Charles Bukowski blush. 

Now 34 and living in Glasgow, Moffat currently has a number of musical projects on the go, including his band /Aidan Moffat & The Best-Ofs, whose recent album 'How To Get To Heaven From Scotland came out on Valentines day on Chemikal Underground.
