The rise of GOSSIP to international prominence is a story that goes far beyond music. In Beth Ditto, the trio have a frontwoman who seemingly commands attention and who is prepared to use shock tactics to make good points. 

Her naked NME cover shoot may well have provided a short window of incredulity in certain quarters but made a clear stand against the size zero fashion prevalent at the time. Possessed of a true blues voice and backed by a truly innovative guitarist in Brace Paine and fluid drummer in Hannah Blilie, their soon to come Rick Rubin produced new album is sure to be a massive hit by the time these co-headline shows come round.
