Brighton duo Steven Ansell and Laura-Mary Carter started playing together in 2005 and notched up more than 200 live shows in their first two years together. Influenced by the likes of PJ Harvey and Pixies, they are currently recording their second album following last year’s successful debut ‘Box of Secrets’. Now expect a brutal punk racket that picks up where riot grrrl left off and drags it kicking and screaming onto the dancefloor in the band’s only English festival appearance of 2009.
